Jaycool Soluble Cutting Oils

Jaycool biostable cutting oils suitable for all ferrous metals including some stainless steels. This odourless blue concentrate contains mineral oil to improve cutting performance and aid machine tool lubrication.

A recommended mix with water of 10:1 or 15:1 produces a stain free performance on all metals including brass and aluminium.

Jaycut cutting oil has been designed for arduous operations on difficult metals or in adverse machine conditions.  There is a larger quantity of mineral oil than is normally found in this type of product ensuring maximum protection for the sawblades life.

Jaymist

Jaymist is a blend of highly refined esters which give outstanding lubricity and cutting performance.  This product is more resistant to oxidation than most vegetable oils of it’s kind, whose oxidation products leave gummy deposits during metal cutting. 

Jaymist finds its principal application when used in spray-misting equipment and has proved very successful when used on a variety of metals.

Jaymist is available in 5, 20 and 25 litre drums and 215 litre barrels.

Application

The key to successful cutting fluid application is to direct as much coolant as possible in a continuous stream as closely as possible to the cutting edge.  This achieves the three primary aims, to lubricate the chip/blade interface, to transfer heat from the blade and to remove the chip as cleanly and as quickly as possible.
